About Kiena.

Prior to the global pandemic, Kiena traveled domestically and internationally as a featured soloist, chorister & background vocalist. Kiena can also be seen featured in various projects in conjunction with Pyer Moss’ “Drip Choir”, services at First U Brooklyn under the music direction of Adam Podd, Essence of Joy Alumni Singers and performances with the International Lyric Academy in Tarquinia, Italy. 

She currently serves as a member of the Program & Artistic Staff of the Grammy Award winning Brooklyn Youth Chorus and is a Resident Young Artist with the Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy for the 21-22 Season. Kiena is an alumna of the Fiorello H. LaGuardia HS of Music & Art and Performing Arts and The Pennsylvania State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in music. Her additional skills include Choral conducting • Gospel flex (soprano/alto) • R&B vocal training • Neo-soul vocal training • Studio recording/editing • Step Dance • Stage management. While Kiena is an up and coming opera star, she has dedicated many years of her young career to educating the youth of New York City. She continues to serve as a Conductor at the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and offers private voice and musicianship instruction to youth across the city. This Fall Kiena will begin her Masters of Music at the Mannes School of Music in New York City.
